My Favorite (Talking) Cat

As I have said in my previous post, I have seen the Talking Tom App.

My roomate and close friend has the Tslking Tom 2, which is funnier to me.

I find Talking Tom really really really funny. The way the voices always turn out sounding like a chimpunk that inhaled helium makes me ROFL.

Tom, scared of a paperbag
And the fact that Ben the Dog can scare him into jumping up so high that he ends up hanging on the lamp! Hahahaha! Priceless!

And there's this question mark button that, if you press, will make Tom grab something from his back and use it makes me laugh. His complaints when you touch the yoyo (with sounds vaugely like "C'mon!") and when Ben smashesthe cake into his face are funny to me.

He makes me remember the yellow dude in Dora that always sings "I'm the grumpy old troll, who lives under the bridge, hey!", even though they have nothing in common.

What I (nor my classmate) can never figure out what I laugh about is when he tries to give you a rose and he rub his foot on the ground.

When this happens,I tell my classmate, "Take it and Angela's gonna kill you."

And then I burst out laughing so hard til my stomach hurts. All the while, she'sgonna look at me with one eyebrow raised.

And when I see her expression, I laugh again.

So what if you think I'm silly.

For me, that's a compliment.

a Robot Life

It's nearing March and every student knows one thing. . . .

It's almost summer!

But, of course, something has to kill that joy. And, for me, that is the requirements our teachers gave.

You know how teachers always give you a problem when you think you're home free?

We're scholars, so the hardness of the work is doubled. We have to pass projects, assignments, reports, term papers, etc. Add the every day homework and a sprinkle of everyday troublesand worries of teenage life and you got yourself a moutain that will make Olympus Mons look like a molehill.

As I thought this through while looking at my laundry that needed to be packed, I wondered if I lived in another time,or another life. A life where robots do our chores, solve our problems, clean the bed, solve RAEs (if you don't know this, I'm happy for you) and other life troubles.

Robots will help us one day. You might think I should consider the robots feelings. But it's a ananimate object! It has no feelings, no thoughts or no other thing to do but help us while we laze around.

Imagine a life where you just have to watch the robot do your chores andyour laundry and make thedescisionsand do the Algebra homework and run to the grocery store.

But.... what if your mom has a robot too? A robot that will nag you all day long because it has nothing else to do?

Mombot: You!
Me: What, Robot?
Mombot: Don't talk to me like that! You're still too young to sass!
Me: Fine, whateves.
Mombot: Is your room clean?
Me: Yes, Madame. My robot is cleaning it.
Mombot: Do it yourself! You've got four limbs that aren't broken!
Me: What's the use of the robot if I do the chores?
Mombot: I said you're too young to sass! Now DO IT!

Imagine that happening everyday for therest of your life, every week, every day, every hour, every moment. . . . .

BRRRR!!!

I'd take handling my own homework any day!

App App and Awaay!!

People theses days love smartphones. Almost everyone is dying to have one(or two, or three). But sometimes I wonder why people go gaga over it. I am an owner of a BlackBerry, but I like it because it is quite easy to use and to type with.

While pondering over this question,I noticed that my dorm mates were occupied with their own smartphones.

I peeped over as to what they were doing that was so important that they could not see gawking observing them as the gears in my head turn.

Then, I saw they were all preoccupied by.....

(guess)

(you're getting closer)

APPS.

One of my friends was playing TapTap,which was like Guitar Hero, minus the guitar frets.

Her fingers were pressing the screen so fast she reminded me of Flash.

My two Kathniel fangirl friends had downlaoaded the Wattpad app, and were reading Kathniel fan fictions. I sighed. Wasn't it enough that these two had every project with each other? No offense to all the Kathniel fangirls/boy/gays.

Another one was using the Talking Tom app. She held it to the two Kathniel lovers, so whenever even one of them lauched into her 'Fangirling' mode (which, BTW, wasgoing crazy shrieking and saying Oh May Gawd) when they read a romantic scene, their voices would be replayed a few octaves higher.

And since they already had soprano voices, the sound coming out almost made the glass shatter.

I then realized that I was OP (out of place) again.

But thenagain, I'm not the type of girl that goes with the flow.

Course not! Where's the fun in that?

PANIC ATTACK!

Watsup, dear readers!

You may be wondering why there's a picture of a woman on the top of this blog that looks like she's panicking that she lost her job, or she saw her picture on Facebook from a party she wanted to forgot, or the laptop's shut down and she can see the rat's nest that is her hair.....

Well let me tell you I didn't see any picture of myself looking like an idiot on Facebook. And if you pay any attention to my other posts, well I can't open the damn thing.

See, the reason for my panic attack is because for one second I thought I wouldn't be able to open my account(for blogger) anymore.

I thought, OMG! This is the only connection I have left in cyberspace!! I will absolutely die if I lose it.

And then I logged in several times using the same e-mail and password 'coz I was pretty damn sure I knew what they were.

Then I remembered that blogger e-mail were @gmail, not @blogger.

I tested it out and you know something, honey?

It worked.

Funny how panic can fog your mind up better than the Mist. . .

Travelog (the short one)

Yesterday we went to Naga C|ity or, what I prefer to call it, Nueva Caceres. The purpose of the tour was to be amazed of everything we saw and write in a sheet of papere what made us so amazed.

I was really amazed so Mission Accomplished ma'am!

I really wanted to just post the travelog on my account for several reasons:

a.) more people can read it and the word will spread better
b.)it doesn't cost anything to upload photos
c.)you can personalize your wall these days

Back to my story. So anyways, the best thing I did was riding the 4D Max Rider. I had fun screaming my head off  every time some hideous beast would come chasing me.

When we came out we sore throats, I saw the Grade 7 boys...........

playing with computers.

I was like, Ugh. There are a lot of things to do there and they decide to play computer games. Like they don't do it every other day. Like they don't have it at home....

Write a travelog about a computer screen.. Gee, that's fun.

Okay I sound bitter.

My Books; The Most Important Documents

I am totally hooked on books. I’m always skipping from one series to another. Although, I have never ever collected one complete series. Diary of Wimpy Kid? Nah, found myself too old for the cartoon novel. Dork Diaries? Too expensive for such a small book. Harry Potter? The inconsistent and expensive prices made my wallet feeling so light.

But that all changed when I discovered Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
I just recently bought the last book, The Last Olympian, thus completing my set.

As I flipped through the book’s pages, I wondered how long for the publishing people had to type everything down: the Table of contents, the body, the chapter pages, the advertising pages.

Our most recent lesson in Computer Science I was about making documents. And, in my book the pages of a novel count as a document.

I know how they made the Table of contents and the other pages. As I looked at the Chapter title, I couldn’t help but I wonder on what type of book the footnotes where most found because I haven’t seen any novel with footnotes before.

I scanned through a bunch of books, in my house and the ‘recorded’ books in my head. Then, I remembered that the bible has a bunch of footnotes per page. And some manuals had footnotes, too, if dummies couldn’t get them. And in Reader’s Digest! Yeah! How could I forget?

I groaned last Friday because we had a practical exam about these stuff, and I should probably admit I found it hard because I didn’t really take in what Sir Tom was yammering on and on about because I thought that the only purpose for these were term papers, which I had to pass only after, like, 2 years.

And a bunch of factors gave me a better feel when I read the books. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series had a Greek-y font that made me feel I was reading an actual writing from a Camp Half-Blood Scribe.
Now I know that it’s important and has other uses than for term papers. How could the publishing people type my favorite stories if they didn’t know?

Candy Colored

Hi there! I'm currently in the Computer Lab and I just want to add a few more posts.

See, our current activities always need colors. The graphs need color, the text need color, the space inside the cells need color and even the lines need color!

I always have fun looking at the type of colors my classmates use since the colors they use can reflect their personalities. One of them used colors like dark red and grey and black and  midnight view. I had a feeling that he/she was going through something really really really bad. I decided not to ask.

One used bubblegum pink, sunshine yellow and sky blue. I was like, "Candy lang, teh?". Really girls. So girly I wanted to puke rainbows....

So you may ask, What colors did you use Pia Pie?

Well, I used the colors that our teacher had used. I didn't really want to waste time personalizing everything.

Just goes to show how boring I am..... ;)
